GOP Presidential hopeful Rick Santorum claims that President Obama had made the country less safe and less secure. To prove it, the former Senator could only offer a favorite GOP rant about France and its unwillingness to help America over the past twenty years.
Tell me, what is it about French bashing and the GOP? What have they got against the French? Cue Bill O’Reilly for an answer.
Just a note to Rick: whose planes flew combat missions into Libya and were instrumental in achieving the downfall of Omar Kaddafi? I know thinking about something other than contraceptives may prove a bit hard for you so I’ll give you the one word answer: France!
So complaining about France to support your (Santorum’s) argument that the President has made America less safe is a bit disingenuous if not utterly ridiculous and almost an outright lie. So tell me, Rick, where, specifically, is America less safe. Give me an example? Something real this time if you can.
You (Santorum) claim that we alienate our friends and support our enemies. So let me see, sanctions against Iran means nothing. Killing key Al Qaeda leaders and disrupting their leadership chain of command is also meaningless. Continued air strikes on terrorist positions throughout the world mean nothing. So tell me, Rick, give me a specific and real example of where we are less safe and more importantly, what would you do differently to make sure America is safe in a Santorum run world.
You (Santorum) also use Obama’s request for cutting some of the excess out of the defense budget as validation of his Obama is destroying the world accusations but somewhere in the course of reason and if we really are going to get a handle on our out of control national debt; military spending cuts are required.
So I guess the issue is this with you (Rick Santorum): you talk a lot, makes accusations left and right but say nothing of importance and you leave the truth in some dumpster behind your campaign headquarters.
Today you even had the balls to say that Obama was of a different theology. What in the hell was that about? Again, here you are, a man who claims to be a god fearing, god loving man who goes out and casts negative aspersions against a fellow man that have no substance or truth to them. Talk about a false theology.
Come on Rick, have the balls and the conviction in your own relgion to speak the truth.
