…the Bleacherman has entered the stadium…
I think it is safe to say that CNN’s John King can now be considered the maker of Kings. All it took was one question and an outstanding response by Newt to coronate Newt as the new leader in the Republican Presidential nomination field.
So now Newt will unleash hordes of accusations labeling President Obama, Democrats and all that oppose him as radicals. Everything that is not believed by Newt has been lumped into this one size fits all moniker of radicalism.
Radicalism is defined as the holding and the following of radical or extreme principles. Radical is described as representing a philosophy that calls for an extreme change from accepted traditional forms.
So it is Gingrich calling Obama a radical…are you kidding me?
Let’s see; calling for judicial judges to be brought before Congress to explain rulings that Congress doesn’t like is not a radical concept? Ignoring the basic principle of separation of powers is not a radical concept?
Calling for janitors to be fired because they make too much money and their jobs should be disbursed among the poor because the poor need to learn how to earn money is not a radical approach to solving inner city economic problems? For one, show me a historian who makes $1.5m for giving a history lesson and two, you think poor children need to be taught how to work? Income equality will only come from opportunity equality and the only way we achieve the latter is to understand how to better educate our children.
Gingrich believes that the Supreme Court has become a constitutional convention and that they should leave the Constitution alone. Judges must understand our rights come from God, not the government. Okay, this thought that the only rights we have come from God is not radical? Does that mean God gives me a right not to believe in him yet I must acknowledge that all my rights come from him?
Gingrich believes in a one-year tax moratorium, coupled with the elimination of capital gains tax and bringing down the corporate tax rate to 12.5%. Boy that will go far in eliminating the national debt. One year of no tax? What does that add to the debt…a few trillion dollars? That’s no radical.
Newt also wants to limit unemployment benefits to a maximum of four weeks. If that is not an out of touch with reality position than what is?
Darth Vader has arisen from the dead and with him comes his death star. Decency and truth seek refuge in the minds of those that still believe in American democracy.

If Corporations are people & pay no taxes why is anyone still paying them?
There’s No representation.
The only people still paying taxes is us poor people and we have no money to buy representation…thanks for your comments…be well…
